These are so much more than a muffin and they really do taste as good as they look. Very moist, and surprisingly delicate for a polenta cake. I wanted to share a recipe for some delicious biscuits my friend Greta brought around for me a few weeks ago. These cookies are not what you would expect! They taste and feel like a classic chocolate chip cookie but are made with unconventional ingredients. Perfectly chewy and a great option for people on a plant-based diet or those who want a gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free and nut-free cookie.

This cake uses only 5 ingredients and is very quick to put together. It is delicious served warm, but will develop a lovely dense texture if left to cool completely. This recipe uses a food processor, but a stick blender will also work. […]

When I was a kid my mum had a café, which was well known for having the best sweet and savoury pies in town. I spent many, many hours watching her in the kitchen, mesmerised by the process of creating something so beautiful from a handful of simple ingredients.
