Meet our newest addition! Baby Ira, born at home on the morning of September 30th. He is a delight and we are all smitten with him. Thank you to everyone who has been so generous in making us meals and treats and providing amazing support in other ways. And also for being so darned excited about his arrival.
Mole (Mo-lay) has got to be one of my favourite sauces of all time. It has a special flavour that is completely unique to Mexico and is the perfect balance of salty, sweet, sour and bitter. I have very fond memories as a child of eating turkey in mole sauce during very special occasions.
When I was an adolescent I discovered that I had a significant intolerance to gluten.
